What This Part Does
The double extractor is the mechanism that pulls notes one at a time from the cash cassette. Two sets of rollers, spinning in opposite directions, ensure only a single bill enters the transport path. The drive shaft is what makes those rollers turn.
When the drive shaft wears, the rollers lose synchronization. The result: double-picks (two notes pulled at once), no-picks (nothing pulled), or skew-feeds (note enters at an angle and jams). All three trigger a dispense fault and take the ATM offline.
