What This Part Does
This is the cash cassette (currency box) that holds notes inside the ATM vault — the removable container the dispenser picks from, or the recycling module that holds notes for re-use.
Cassettes look simple but they have tight mechanical tolerances on the push plate and the latch. When the push plate tension drops, the picker can no longer separate the top note reliably, and the machine starts reporting no-pick or double-pick faults even after the dispenser is serviced.
Both brand-new and refurbished cassettes are common: refurbished units go through cleaning and a push-plate tension check before dispatch.
